80 Degrees North is a documentary film by Merlin Cerise with Gaël Loicq and a photo book published in February 2024.
Made with the support of the International Polar Foundation, it follows a 22-day fully self-supported expedition in Svalbard in March 2023, about 400 kilometers of high Arctic travel.
The film supports conference talks and sparks interest in polar regions through adventure and landscapes, while also addressing climate and geopolitical questions.
